edness, tiredness, depression, nausea and dry mouth.
SN instructed patient and caregiver about Clonidine, it is used alone or with other medications to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart
attacks, and kidney problems. It works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily. Possible SE/AR may include: dizziness, lightheadedness, drowsiness, dry mouth, or constipation may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly. To reduce the risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. To relieve dry mouth, suck on (sugarless) hard candy or ice chips, chew (sugarless) gum, drink water, or use a saliva substitute. Tell your doctor right away if you have any serious side effects, including: fainting, slow/irregular heart
beat, mental/mood changes like, irritability, depression.
SN instructed that Tradjenta is used with a proper diet and exercise program and possibly with other medications to control high blood sugar. It is used by people with type 2 diabetes. Controlling high blood sugar helps prevent kidney damage, blindness, nerve problems, loss of limbs, and sexual function problems. Proper control of diabetes may also lessen your risk of a heart
attack or stroke.
SN instructed that Furosemide is used to reduce extra fluid in the body (edema) caused by conditions such as heart
failure, liver disease, and kidney disease. This can lessen symptoms such as shortness of breath and swelling in your arms, legs, and abdomen. SN instructed that common side effects include dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, or blurred vision may occur as your body adjusts to the medication.
SN instructed that Meloxicam is a not steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic and fever reducer effects. Possible can result in gastrointestinal toxicity and bleeding, headaches, rash, and very dark or black stool. Like other NSAIDs, its use is associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events such as heart
attack and stroke. It has fewer gastrointestinal side effects than diclofenac,, piroxicam, and naproxen, and perhaps all other NSAIDs.

SN instructed patient / caregiver about Ipratropium Bromide/Albuterol(Duoneb); get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: hives; difficult breathing; swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat. Stop using albuterol and ipratropium and call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as: wheezing, choking, or other breathing problems,chest pain, pounding heart
beats or fluttering in your chest, dangerously high blood pressure (severe headache, anxiety, uneven heart
beat), swelling of your ankles or feet, eye pain, or seeing halos around lights, painful or difficult urination. Other common side effects may include: mild headache, or cold symptoms such as stuffy nose, sneezing, cough, or sore throat.
SN instructed patient that the Xarelto is used to prevent or treat a type of blood clot called deep vein thrombosis ( DVT ), which can lead to blood clots in the lungs ( pulmonary embolism ). A DVT can occur after certain types of surgery. Xarelto is also used in people with atrial fibrillation ( a heart
rhythm disorder ) to lower the risk of stroke caused by a blood clot. If you take Xarelto 1 time each day: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. Take your next dose the following day and stay on your once-daily schedule. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.
