to work faster, constricting blood vessels, and decreasing the amount of oxygen delivered to the heart
, and in the presence of coronary artery disease, increasing the probability of chest pain. The patient was advised that the role that stress plays in aggravating coronary artery disease. The patient was recommended the benefits of exercise, increase in high-density lipoproteins, which lowers blood pressure, weight loss, improved cardiovascular status.
The patient was instructed in heart
failure to take and record the pulse. The patient was advised to avoid hot, humid, weather. The patient was taught for home oxygen therapy.
Instructed patient untreated high blood pressure can lead to a greater risk for stroke, heart
attack, or other heart
damage.
Instructed that medication Spironolactone is used to treat high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart
attacks, and kidney problems. It is also used to treat swelling (edema) caused by certain conditions (e.g., congestive heart
failure) by removing excess fluid and improving symptoms such as breathing problems. Instructed that common side effects include, Drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, or headache.
Instructed patient stay active during your recovery. Be sure to start slowly and increase your activity little by little,do not stand or sit in the same spot for too long. Move around a little bit. Walking is a good exercise for the lungs and heart
