Actonel Teaching 1343

Symptoms of a Actonel overdose may include nausea, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhea, muscle cramps, numbness or tingling, tight muscles in your face, seizure (convulsions), irritability, and unusual thoughts or behavior.

Myelogram Teaching 1482

The patient was instructed in myelogram to lower the bed to the horizontal position to dismiss a headache. The patient was advised to take mild analgesics for insistent pain. Patient was educated about potassium 10 meq 1 tablet oral daily and the importance to report dark, tarry, or bloody stools; weakness; unusual fatigue; or tingling of extremities. Notify if nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or stomach discomfort persists. Dosage may require adjustment. Emphasize the importance of regular follow-up exams to monitor serum levels and progress.

Lisinopril Teaching 1558

SN instructed pt on medication Lisinopril 20mg PO daily for HTN. Side effects include: dizziness due to a drop in blood pressure. Lisinopril can cause nausea, headaches, anxiety, insomnia, drowsiness, nasal congestion, and sexual dysfunction, and Severe allergic reactions (anaphylaxis) and hives may result. Contact the MD as soon as the above signs/symptoms occur.

Patient was instructed on Lorazepam a benzodiazepines a medication used to treat anxiety disorder. Patient was instructed to take medication exactly as indicated by physician and to avoid the consumption of alcohol. Patient was instructed on side effects such as: •drowsiness, dizziness, tiredness;blurred vision;sleep problems (insomnia);muscle weakness, lack of balance or coordination;amnesia or forgetfulness, trouble concentrating;nausea, vomiting,constipation;appetite changes; or skin rash. If side effect become persistent or worsen contact physician immediately.

Omeprazole Teaching 1588

Instructed patient about Omeprazole cap in the most common side effects such as; diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headaches, rash and dizziness. Nervousness, abnormal heartbeat, muscle pain, weakness, leg cramps, and water retention occur infrequently.
