Patient instructed to breathe deeply five or six times after experiencing a fall. In the event of any injuries do not try to get up, call a family member immediately for assistance.
Patient instructed that if after a fall he or she does not feel injured it is advisable to crawl to the nearest chair or strong piece of furniture to try to get up and call for help.

Patient was instructed on strategies that can significantly help decrease the risk of a fall such as: Good lighting throughout the home, especially in stairwells and hallways, Non-slip floors and rugs, Hand rails on stairs, next to the toilet and in the shower and bathtub.
Patient was instructed on precautions to prevent respiratory complications. Avoid persons with infections and wash hands frequently. Caution the patient to avoid the use of respiratory depressants.
Skilled received patient sitting on the chair, noted difficulty when patient was trying to get up with the crutches, patient is at risk for fall. SN instructed pt to avoid sitting on low chair or chair without a hand rest for support in order to prevent fall.
SN instructed about aspiration precautions. Consume honey thick liquids. Do not use a straw to drink fluid. Sit straight up when eating or drinking, have supervision with meals, do not eat alone. Sit up at least 1/2 hour after a meal.
SN instructed patient and caregiver that CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) is increasing again and every house hold members need to apply precautions not contact or spread infection. Wear your mask and use hand sanitizer. People that had vaccination can still contact it if not careful.
