SN advised patient on some serious adverse effect of Lovenox such as: atrial fibrillation, heart
failure, skin necrosis, hemorrhage, intracranial hemorrhage, paraplegia, and pneumonia.
Instructed patient in medication Plavix prevent unwanted blood clots that can occur with certain heart
or blood vessel conditions. While you take Plavix: you may bruise and bleed more easily, you are more likely to have nose bleeds, and it will take longer for any bleeding to stop. Call your doctor right away if you have any of these signs or symptoms of bleeding: unexpected bleeding or bleeding that lasts a long time, blood in your urine (pink, red or brown urine), red or black stools, bruises that happen without a known cause or get larger cough up blood or blood clots vomit blood or your vomit looks like coffee grounds.
SN instructed patient about Sensipar (cinacalcet) is an agent that increases the sensitivity of the parathyroid gland to calcium in the body. This causes a decrease in levels of parathyroid hormone (PTH), calcium, and phosphorous in the body. Sensipar works best if you take it with food or shortly after eating a meal. Do not crush or break a Sensipar tablet. Swallow the pill whole. Call your doctor at once if you have a serious side effect such as numbness or tingly feeling around your mouth, fast or slow heart
rate, muscle tightness or contraction, overactive reflexes, seizure, feeling short of breath, swelling, rapid weight gain, or feeling like you might pass out.
