Instructed patient to always keep supplies at your patient's bedside for suctioning; tube and stoma care
; delivery of oxygen, heat, and humidity; tracheostomy tube replacement; and artificial ventilation.
Patient was instructed on Osteoporosis. It is possible to make a few small changes toward healthier eating habits. For example, simply adding a yogurt as a snack might be enough to meet your milk servings. Adding a sliced banana to your cereal will take care
of a fruit serving.
Patient was instructed on Hyperglycemia. If dehydrated the body burns protein and fat rather than sugar for energy, causing acids and ketones to build up in your blood. These ketones can be partially released into the urine. If ketoacidosis develops, emergency care
is needed immediately to keep the condition from getting worse.
Instructed on some measures aimed to managing/controlling Emphysema, such as: report immediately to physician, nurse or other health care
provider if fever, change in amount or color of sputum and/or increased shortness of breath occur.

, keep the perineal area clean and change
pads and undergarments to prevent odors. Inspect the area regularly.
Instructed the importance of adopting a lifestyle that controls an episode of Abdominal Aneurysm. Taught the patient how to care
for the incision and instruct in case of any sign of infection, severe pain in the abdomen providing the name and telephone number of a physician or nurse.
Taught patient that this conditions its causes and related involvement of other body organs. The patient was instructed how to care
for skin lesions.
