SN explained that long standing hypertension
leads to heart damage that is called heart failure. This means your heart "fails" to pump your blood to your body effectively. You may notice swelling in your extremities, that you are easily fatigued with normal activity, and weight gain. Any of these symptoms or worsening of them should be reported to SN or MD.
Instructed in possible factors that increase risk of the angina pectoris such as sudden physical exertion, emotional stress, consumption of a heavy meal, temperature extremes, nicotine, hypertension
, obesity, constipation accompained by excessive straining.
Instructed in S/S of high blood pressure such as fatige, palpitation, dizziness, headaches, nosebleeds, blurring of vision.
Instructed in complication requiring medical intervention associated with hypertension
such as SOB, blurred vision, headache and extreme weakness.
Instructed in S/S of hypertension
such as blurred vision, nouse bloods, dizziness, headache, palpitations, etc.
Instructed in risk factors associated with heart disease, including smoking, family history, hypertension
, stress and diet.
Instructed patient about high blood pressure and how it also increases the risk of developing kidney problems.
Instructed patient about blood pressure. How it should be checked every time when she/he goes to the doctor.
Instructed patient on how the habit of eating a lot of salt increases the chance of getting high blood pressure.
Instructed patient about complications requiring medical intervention associated with hypertension
