Patient was instructed on hypoglycemia symptoms, such as shaking or physical tremor. Tremors are the involuntary trembling of the body often it affects the fingers or hands. Another sign is the palpitations. Abnormality of the heart
beat that a person slurred speech or difficulty articulating words.
Taught that potential complications of Angina Pectoris are dysrhythmia of the heart
and myocardial infarction.
Taught that effectively controlling high blood sugar levels help prevent heart
disease, kidney disease and strokes, among others.
Taught that lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart
attacks and kidney problems.
Instructed on the importance of avoiding/decreasing sodium intake in order to decrease retention of fluid and the workload of the heart
