Instructed in risk factors associated with heart disease, including smoking, family history, hypertension, stress and diet.
Instructed in diagnosis of ASHD/CAD. This occurs when there is a narrowing of the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle, restrincting flow of blood.
Instructed in diagnosis of Angina. This is a temporary lack of oxygenated blood supply to a portion of the heart, causing pain.
Instructed SO on how symptoms differ among individuals, depending on the severity of the case: sensitivity to cold temperature, dry skin, constipation, forgetfulness, chronic fatigue, decreased heart rate, depression, hair loss, weight gain, muscle stiffness and cramping, lack of facial expression, enlarged tongue.
Instructed patient about pacemaker, which is an electronic device that causes the heart to beat by releasing a small electrical discharge.

Instructed patient on the steps to follow to prevent a heart attack or stroke by: maintaining proper cholesterol and triglyceride levels, exercise regularly, proper diet, keeping all MD appointments.
Instructed patient on possible complications linked to diabetes such as, kidney, bladder and heart disorders, strokes, eye complications, peripheral vascular and nervous system disorders.
